My laptop is the command center of my entire life. It’s the thing that comes with me to every class, every meeting, every editing session, and every late-night design crunch. If you’ve ever seen me tucked in the Students’ Art Gallery or in the Art and Design Lobby with my airpods in and 42 tabs open – I’m always on this laptop: designing, writing, organizing, or sending a strongly worded email in regards to one of the many projects I’m juggling.
I’ve built a whole system of software to keep everything flowing. It’s how I can be so busy – staying organized is the key. It all starts in the browser, then flows to whatever note-taking app I need, extends to my meticulous google calendar, and comes together with the dozens of shortcuts and productivity apps I use. It’s not just a computer, it’s my whole life. It’s how I can flow between my roles smoothly without completely losing track of myself. It’s the reason I can run across campus all day and still have everything I need right in front of me.
